“I can’t recommend Kate enough - we had both maternity and newborn photos taken and we are so, so pleased with them all! Kate is super friendly and put us at ease in front of the camera, also providing some much needed direction as we are a bit camera shy.”

“We were lucky enough to have Kate take photos for both maternity and newborn. We did the maternity in the studio, which was lovely space and even better Kate provided snacks! Kate made me feel so comfortable and at ease, which for me is a big thing as I’m super awkward in front of a camera. My boyfriend said the same thing and as a result we got some beautiful photos to mark the moment.I am so pleased with how all the pictures turned out. I usually am very self conscious in photos and I’m so glad I decided to use Kate as she has captured such precious moments for us, and I actually felt pretty. Would recommend, not least because Kate is also such a nice person”

You might be thinking…
-
There’s nothing you need to do except be yourselves. You hang out with your family while I quietly snap away.
We take things at your pace, with breaks whenever they’re needed, feeds, cuddles, tea, snacks… it’s simply about being together and having fun.
No pressure, no performing, just a little gentle direction from me if needed, so you can relax and enjoy it.
-
I’ll send a shoot guide with lots of handy styling tips once you’re booked in. The most important thing is feeling like yourself and not like you’re dressing up as someone having a shoot! You do you babe.
-
Yes! Once your gallery is delivered, you’ll choose your included images and can upgrade your collection if you’d like more. There are a few different options available from individual digitals, extra prints or the full digital gallery. You don’t need to decide anything until you’ve seen the photographs.
-
Galleries are delivered within 3–4 weeks via a private online link, so you can view everything at home in your own time.
-
For newborns, you’re welcome to book from your 12-week scan. I work with babies of all ages, so there’s no pressure to hit a specific window, you can choose when it feels right for you.
Maternity sessions are often between 28–36 weeks, and family shoots can happen at any time. There’s no perfect age or season.
-
Then we roll with it!
For family sessions (anything non-newborn), it’s never about standing still and smiling at the camera. It’s about making it fun and making it feel like we’re not having a photoshoot at all.
We hang out, they play, we go with the flow , and somewhere in all of that, the magic happens.
